Re: Summer Youth Institute, Pittsburgh
Theological Seminary
Do you have an outstanding 11th or 12th grader
in your congregation who likes to ask big questions of faith, enjoys
interacting with other interested youth, and would like to study with seminary
professors for two weeks in the summer? If so, you may want to encourage him
or her to apply for the Summer Youth Institute, July 5-19,
2008, at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary.

To inquire further, you may check
www.summeryouthinstitute.org, or email
syi@pts.edu, or
contact their director, the Rev. Mary Eleanor Johns. They have run the
program for 11 summers. You may also feel free to contact me, as I have had
two youth from Nevada attend in the past.
They begin accepting applicants on April 1, so
there is still time to inquire, but I suggest you not delay.
